How smart can our machines make us? Tom Gruber, co-creator of Siri, wants to make "humanistic AI" that augments and collaborates with us instead of competing with (or replacing) us. He shares his vision for a future where AI helps us achieve superhuman performance...
If you listened through Tom's TED talk - this would be the next read: "When I met the cyborg Neil Harbisson, in Barcelona, he looked like any local hipster, except for the black antenna arching impressively from the back of his skull over his mop of blonde hair." (Is that the route to super designers?)
Thank you Pune
Turns out that Punekars love DesignInTech π it was a full house: two awesome workshops, an energetic bunch of people (from students, teachers to seasoned practitioners). And talks ranging from Insourcing Design, to Chimps-Humans-AI, Bots taking over work, why Poets are increaingly employable, Jobs-to-be-done, Blockchain replacing the EC, rethinking 8th Sept 2038 (and where will you be?)βand much much more!
Thank you Pune - it was great being there! Pics & Videos on our Fb page π
Until the next week,
