DesignUp πŸ’Ÿ Issue #104 > From Hurt to Hope: DesignUpForACause

3 weeks ago we wrapped up #DesignUpForACause - we've been taking a short break (besides filing the paperwork), and responding to people who are missing the weekend dose of energy and inspiration. In 4.5 weeks, with your generous support, we went beyond the Rupees 7 Million mark. This visual issue (and easy read) is Soo revisiting the virtual event - Jay

Soo says -

We always wonder whether virtual events would have the same sense of energy and community as the actual in-person event - but at #DesignUpForACause, we came very, very close. For some of the days, vast geographical distances vanished as we all logged in from living rooms, dining tables, and WFH desks. Through the chatter in the Zoom chat pod and the engagement on the Twitter channel, warmth and camaraderie permeated every interaction. Every speaker was so glad to give their time, generously taking questions from the attendees. Don Norman even came attired in a traditional Indian kurta.

For me, the whole event reinforced that human kindness and generosity are very much alive and kicking, and gave us all so much hope and inspiration.
